WOYWW

Wednesday again, well for us across the pond it is almost Wednesday!
First of all I must show you this.....
I spent most of Saturday evening cleaning my craft room while the hubster was cooking us curry, it took him 4 hours so I had plenty of time! Look how gleaming it is, I managed to clear every surface!
Took this pic on Sunday morning before I started playing, it was bliss, clean desk, venti latte and pumpkin loaf! I know, I am so easily pleased!
This was today (Tuesday), preparing my card for Thursday, can you guess how it will turn out?
The notebook is one I am filling with the stamps I have otherwise I forget I have them!

oh and just when I was hoping for an early spring/thaw, a huge dump of snow with another one to follow Wednesday night through Friday!  I suppose skiing will be good!
The pole this is on is pretty long, it is now in about 4 feet of snow!  That is going to take some thawing, looks like we won't be seeing spring until May as usual!

Hope you will join us for WOYWW and in case you are wondering why I am showing my desk off, pop over to Julia Dunnit's blog to find out why and how you can join!

WOYWW

Taken on Tuesday afternoon again so maybe this should be called Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday (or Tuesday if you want to be early for the party!)
I always like to be early for everything, otherwise I get stressed, hence my Tuesday photo each week!
Today I am working on one of my 'book cards' you can see some finished ones here and here and here as this one is still a long way off yet!  I hope it will be on display at a blog near you on Sunday, fingers crossed!
I intend to make it all grungy with the stamps lying beside it like this one here.
....and my arrivals this week, I stopped myself from buying some other goodies over the last few weeks waiting for these to hit the stores.  They came into Scrapbook Steals which I couldn't believe as they were hugely discounted, a very good steal!  they are the brand spanking new My Minds Eye Miss Caroline collection.  Now I just need to get the nerve up to break into them, the first cut is the hardest!
If you haven't heard of WOYWW then head on over to Julia Dunnit's blog to find out what it is all about, hope you will join in too!  We are growing larger in numbers each week!
Thanks so much for dropping by!

WOYWW

ON my desk today, those pretty papers I shared last week, but look, I have cut them and punched out hearts. Unfortunately, can't show the card yet!  I seem to have done a lot of secret stuff lately, lots to share in the next month at least!
The tin is no longer full of chocolate fingers, I am going to keep my large bottles of glue in there now so it is waiting for a make over, see the washi tape around the tin lid, it is a start!
Card is finished now, (pics took on Tuesday for good light etc) and I am now busily creating for a new release next Wednesday!

I can share this card with you, although I am not too sure about it, one I made last week with something else in mind that didn't work out! Rather than scrap it, this was what I salvaged.
It is made with Tim Holtz stamps, MME paper, the sentiment is from a Whimsy Stamps set and the paper is an old dressmakers pattern.

If you are not familiar with WOYWW please pop over to our leader Julia who will tell you how!  You will find many links to other WOYWW-ers and you just might be tempted to leave your own!
